Music Opportunities

The Worship Team was formed to plan and lead monthly informal worship services as part or Wednesday Nights ALIVE. They also assist with Sunday Worship on occasion.

Instrumentalists and Soloists and encouraged to make their talents known. Such musicians may be used for special music during the summer months, at the 8:15 AM services throughout the year, for the accompaniment to hymns and anthems, and for offertory solos or small ensembles.

The ADULT CHOIR is the choir which sings for most 11:00 A.M. worship services from September through the first Sunday in June. Open to teens and adults, the adult choir provides anthems, responses and benedictions to enhance our worship. Rehearsals are held 7:30 PM on Thursdays during the Choir Season. Those with the ability to “carry a tune” and the commitment to minister in this musical way are welcome.

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS include the Angel Choir, composed of singers in kindergarten through grade three, and God’s Messengers, for those in grades four through six. These choirs will rehearse at 6:00 PM, on Wednesday nights, from October through March as a part of Wednesday Nights ALIVE Program. The choirs will sing for the 8:30 and 11:00  Worship Service periodically. Selected members of the older choir will also have the opportunity to play hand chimes.

The MEN’S CHORUS sings two times a year. They practice on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. about six weeks prior to singing. All men who love to sing are welcome.

A WOMEN’S CHOIR sings on occasion, giving women who are able to sing regularly with the Adult Choir an opportunity to share their talents.
