JUNIOR HIGH
Grades 7 & 8: Room 313
This class will be studying from the Gather 'Round curriculum for this year. They will begin their year with traveling to Jerusalem’s fall, David’s Covenant, a visit to the valley of the dry bones and then visit Job. They will then move on their journey to see the temple rebuilt as they return to Jerusalem.

7th GRADE INQUIRER'S CLASS
This class will begin as part of the Junior High Class on November 22, 2009-March 25, 2010. Look for separate mailing if you are in 7th grade.

The Senior High Youth will begin the series Chasing Daylight by Erwin McManus. This is a contemporary study based on the life of Jonathan and seizing every moment.

National Youth Conference will be held at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado from July 17-22, 2010. The theme is "More Than Meets the Eye," based on II Corinthians 4:6-10, 16-18. Look for more details over the next few months.

Contest Opportunities
Speech Contest Write a speech on the topic "More Than Meets the Eye." Entries must include a written and audio copy of the speech and should be 500-700 words (about 10-minutes spoken) and sent to the NYC office by January 1, 2010. The top two entrants will give their speeches during a worship service at NYC.
Music Contest Write a song for NYC, focusing on the theme "More Than Meets the Eye." Songs should be 3-5 minutes in length. Entries should contain an audio recording on CD. Lyrics must be included. Submissions are due by January 1, 2010.
