Lititz Youth and Advisors Attended
National Youth Conference
Thirty-three senior high youth and five advisors from our church attended the 2010 National Youth Conference along with thousands of other Brethren youth at Fort Collins, Colorado, July 17-22.
A total of 456 youth and advisors from the Atlantic Northeast District attended the conference with the theme More than Meets the Eye, based on II Corinthians 4:18.
At the conference, the youth participated in worship services and seminars, went on hikes, played games, were part of service projects, and were assigned to small groups. Bob Kettering led a seminar on the meaning of baptism and love feast.
We are grateful for all of the financial support of the entire church for the youth.
The youth will lead a combined worship service on August 8 related to their experience at National Youth Conference. |

Women's Fellowship Camp
August 22-24, 2010
|
All women of the district are invited to attend Women's Camp at Camp Swatara. Our speaker will be Belita Mitchell. Belita is currently the pastor of the Harrisburg First Church of the Brethren and was moderator of the 2007 Annual Conference. Her messages will be based on "Daughters of the Divine: Fearless and Free to Shine." We will explore this theme through four sessions devoted to hearing about: The Fallacy of our Fears, The Divine Inheritance, The Freedom from Fear, and The Power of Our Light.
There will be opportunities for worship, Bible study, hiking, swimming, water aerobics, crafts, and other interest groups.
